According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in October 2025, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 1,041.35 tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 37.80% compared to October 2024, and a month-on-month decrease of 13.41% compared to September 2025. The export value reached RMB 477 million, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 2.43% and a month-on-month increase of 5.47%.
In October 2025, China exported:
Tungstic acid: 19.45 tons, with no recorded value in the same period last year and a month-on-month decrease of 66.70%.
Other tungsten oxides and hydroxides, nes: 110.00 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.33% and a month-on-month decrease of 21.43%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 16.59 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 52.27% and a month-on-month decrease of 38.01%.
Sodium tungstate: 72.42 tons, only 0.50 tons in the same period last year and a month-on-month decrease of 3.32%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 81.00 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 38.33% and a month-on-month increase of 32.35%.
Carbides of tungsten: 156.49 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 54.73% and a month-on-month increase of 167.96%.
Ferro-tungsten: 206.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 28.79% and a month-on-month increase of 144.81%.
Tungsten powders: 157.93 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.36% and a month-on-month increase of 21.75%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars and rods obtained simply by sintering: 109.03 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 20.18% and a month-on-month decrease of 44.16%.
Tungsten wire: 28.39 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.48% and a month-on-month decrease of 33.60%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 28.57 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40.48% and a month-on-month increase of 24.22%.
Bars, rods, profiles, and tungsten articles including plates, sheets, strip, and foil, excluding those obtained simply by sintering: 17.23 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 74.53% and a month-on-month decrease of 61.92%.
Additionally, in October 2025, China exported:
