According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, from January to October 2025, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 13,000 tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 16.34% compared with the same period in 2024. The export value reached RMB 4.316 billion, down 2.42% year-on-year.

From January to October 2025, China exported:
Tungstic acid: 220.96 tons, a year-on-year increase of 236.82%.
Sodium tungstate: 285.54 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1,250.03%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 2,566.92 tons, a year-on-year increase of 58.19%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars and rods obtained simply by sintering: 1,914.42 tons, a year-on-year increase of 181.13%.
Tungsten wire: 332.73 tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.95%.
Tungsten trioxide: 953.06 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 61.62%.
Other tungsten oxides and hydroxides, nes: 527.78 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 52.73%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 307.88 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 12.41%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 222.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 59.74%.
Carbides of tungsten: 1,528.39 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 55.62%.
Ferro-tungsten: 1,956.64 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.46%.
Tungsten powders: 1,257.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.60%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 313.78 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 39.76%.
Bars, rods, profiles, plates, sheets, strip and foil of tungsten (excluding those obtained simply by sintering): 319.33 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 50.98%.
Additionally, from January to October 2025, China exported:
Knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides, coated or plated: 1,287.92 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.72%.
Other knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides: 1,486.97 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.17%.
